 The Rev. Peter M. Floyd, Vicar The Rev. Peter M. Floyd is the Vicar of St. Anskar's Church. Like a Rector, a Vicar is a priest in charge of a parish church. Prior to his call to our congregation, Fr. Floyd served as both a Priest-in-Charge and Associate Rector at Grace Episcopal Church in Hinsdale, IL, Deacon Associate at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Nashville, TN, and Seminarian Assistant at St. Mary’s in Dousman, WI.
A native of Manchester, TN, Fr. Floyd received his B.S. Degree from The University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. After college and serving several years in the insurance industry as a project manager, Fr. Floyd attended Nashotah House Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity Degree. He was ordained to the priesthood in January of 2009 by The Rt. Rev. John Bauerschmidt, Bishop of Tennessee. Fr. Floyd is married to Jeneen, and the Floyds have a young daughter.
